WE PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY

This is our privacy notice that is required by law.  This notice explains how we collect, use and safeguard your personal financial information.  Your financial privacy is the highest priority of our credit union.  To accomplish this, we share information with our affiliated third party financial provider who support and provides the credit union with data processing services.  We also have agreements with other companies that provide additional financial services to us and to you for your convenience.

Personal Information:
Personal information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.  Personal information does not include information available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Affiliate and Nonaffiliated Third Party:

An affiliate is a company we own or control.  A nonaffiliated third party is a company that is not affiliated with us.

Information We Collect:

We collect personal information about you from you on applications, other credit union forms, other credit union transactions, transactions with nonaffiliated third parties, and from a consumer reporting agency.

Confidentiality and Security of Your Personal Information:
We restrict access to personal information about you to those employees who need that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your personal information.
Personal Information and Other Parties:
We do not disclose personal information about former members’ unless required by law or as disclosed in this notice.
Nonpublic Personal Information and Former Members:
We do not disclose personal information about former members’ unless required by law.

Authorized Sharing:
We may disclose information we collect about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law.  These disclosures would include information to follow your instructions as you authorize, to conduct the operations of the credit union, or to protect the security of our financial records.  We only work with companies that agree to protect and maintain the privacy of our members’ personal and financial information.  We do not permit these companies to sell or exchange information that we provide to other third parties. If you terminate your membership with TheoDavies Federal Credit Union, we will not disclose information collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

Opt Out or Don’t Disclose:
You do not have the right to opt out of this disclosure of this information.  You may request that we not disclose nonpublic information about you to other third parties (as permitted by law) by calling the credit union at (808) 847-1909 or toll free (1800) 500-1909..
